The Cooperstown boys varsity basketball team is only two wins away from a state championship. After last weekend's quarterfinal victory over Elmira Notre Dame, the Hawkeyes now advance to the semifinals of the Class C New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Championship Tournament on Saturday where they will take on Lyons, the Section V Class C champions.
