Cooperstown Central School Safety Patrol Induction Ceremony

Posted Date: 10/17/25 (01:27 PM)

We’re excited to share that our Cooperstown Central School Safety Patrol held its induction ceremony this week—marking the second year of our program!

Village Law Enforcement Officer Jess Lanza joined us for this special occasion, presenting each new patroller with their official belt and badge. Officer Lanza spoke about the importance of leadership, responsibility, and community service, encouraging our students to take pride in helping keep our school safe.

Mrs. Ann Flynn, our Safety Patrol Advisor, congratulated our students for their commitment and teamwork, reminding everyone that Safety Patrol members play a vital role each day—helping classmates arrive and dismiss safely, modeling respectful behavior, and contributing to a positive school environment.

Families joined us to celebrate and welcome our new Captains, Patrollers, and Substitutes into the program. Their enthusiasm and support help make this initiative such a success!

We’re proud of our students for stepping up as leaders in our school community—thank you to Officer Lands, Mrs. Flynn, and all the families who made this event meaningful.
