Mark your calendar for Monday, February 2, for a very special fundraiser for the Susquehanna SPCA during the girls JV and varsity basketball games. Full details below from Mia Pelcer, LTA President and Senior Volleyball Player, and Kate Crippen, LTA Member and Senior Basketball Player:

"Every year, Cooperstown’s Leadership Training for Athletes (LTA) encourages sports teams to do service projects through NYSPHSAA Team Up for Community Program and get involved in giving back to the community.

The girls volleyball and basketball teams have been working with the Susquehanna SPCA this year to organize a fundraiser during the girls basketball games on Monday, February 2 (JV at 5:30 p.m., varsity at 7 p.m.) and having a halftime show from the Clark’s Sports Center youth basketball teams.
Having the leaders and athletes of Cooperstown Central School work with different groups in our community is a priority for LTA and something that we pride our athletes on doing.

We encourage families and community members to come out and support our teams and local SPCA by bringing monetary donations, dog or cat food, towels and/or blankets. All donations to our local SPCA are appreciated. Please show your support."
