Max Koffer and Andrew Spaulding of the Cooperstown/Milford boys varsity wrestling team are headed to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) boys state wrestling championships, which begin Friday at MVP Arena in Albany.

Students and staff at Cooperstown Junior-Senior High School lined the halls Wednesday afternoon to cheer on Max and Andrew as they gear up to compete in their championship matches.

Max is entering as the 11-seed with a 35-14 record after finishing in second place at sectionals. Andrew is the 14-seed with a 38-9 record after coming in third place at sectionals.

Good luck, Max and Andrew! Way to make Cooperstown proud!
