Six Hawkeyes Recognized with Prestigious Athletic Awards

Cooperstown Central School is proud to recognize six outstanding student-athletes for their achievements, leadership, sportsmanship and dedication to Hawkeye athletics.

Jacob Johnson was awarded the John Terry McGovern Sportsmanship Award, while Kate Crippen received the Ann Pink Memorial Sportsmanship Award.

Mia Pelcer and Jackson Crisman were honored as the female and male recipients, respectively, of the Bursey Award.

In addition, Sonam Gyamtso and Ryan Ford were recognized as recipients of the Welsh Award.

These honors celebrate student-athletes who exemplify excellence, character, leadership and sportsmanship both in competition and throughout the school community. Each of these Hawkeyes has represented Cooperstown with pride and serves as an outstanding role model for their teammates and fellow students.
