Congratulations to Cooperstown junior Brayden Sentz, who was honored Tuesday night at syracuse.com’s 2026 All-Central New York High School Sports Awards as the All-CNY Boys Golf Player of the Year.
The prestigious regional honor caps off an outstanding season for Brayden. Earlier this month, he represented the Hawkeyes at the NYSPHSAA Golf Championships at Mill Creek Golf Club in Rochester, where he finished in 12th place overall in the state.
Throughout the season, Brayden consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication and sportsmanship while representing Cooperstown Central School with pride. His success at the state tournament and recognition as the top boys golfer in central New York highlight one of the most accomplished seasons in program history.
