Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days!

Posted Date: 10/23/26 (02:04 PM)

We are excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week at school next week, Oct. 26-Oct. 30!

Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that raises awareness about the importance of living a healthy, safe and drug-free life. It encourages students to make positive choices, understand the importance of prevention and build healthy habits that support their well-being now and in the future.

Throughout the week, we will have several activities to help students learn about the importance of making healthy decisions and staying drug-free.

Here's what to look forward to during Red Ribbon Week:

  • Spirit Days: Students are encouraged to participate in our Red Ribbon Week spirit days! Please see the attached flyer for the daily themes.
  • Daily Announcements: Students will hear facts and important messages throughout the week to help raise awareness about drug prevention and healthy choices.
  • Educational Presentation: On Monday, students in grades 7-9 will have the opportunity to hear from Joe Tiemann from the Child Advocacy Center. This presentation will focus on helping students understand the importance of making safe and healthy choices, recognizing situations that may put their well-being at risk and knowing where to turn for help and support. This is a valuable opportunity for students to learn important skills that can help them make informed decisions and navigate challenges they may encounter.
  • SEL Lessons: Students in 8th grade will participate in social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons on Tuesday or Wednesday to further support positive decision-making, healthy relationships and student well-being.
We encourage all students to participate in the spirit days and help make this week fun, engaging and meaningful!

Thank you for your continued support in helping us promote healthy choices, positive decision-making and a safe and supportive school community!
