Who is eligible to enter?

Students, Staff, Alumni and Community Members may participate

 What theme are we looking for?

 Cooperstown Central School will remain the Hawkeyes, and the design should represent our vision, mission, and Four C’s of a Cooperstown Student.

The logo should promote "Unity," "Pride," "School Spirit," and "Excellence."

 What are the design requirements?

School colors Black, orange and white must be used.

 Image Versatility Should be versatile for various uses (sportswear, letterheads, digital media, etc.).

 File Resolution High-resolution files and vector formats (e.g., .AI or .EPS) for digital entries.

 Prohibited Elements Copyrighted images, symbols, or overly complex

 What criteria will be used for judging?

 Creativity Originality and uniqueness of the design.

 Relevance How well it represents the Hawkeye spirit and Cooperstown values.

 Simplicity and Versatility How easily the logo can be used across various media.

 Judging Panel Will include teachers, coaches, administrators, students, and a local artist or graphic designer for diverse perspectives. Panel will select up to 5 entries for community vote.

What is the contest timeline?

Submission Deadline February 21, 2025

Potential Logo Announcement Designs for community vote will be announced at the March 19, 2025, Board of Education Meeting.

Community Voting Online voting from March 20 – April 11, 2025

Winner Announced April 23, 2025, at the Board of Education Meeting

 How do I submit my entry?

Please submit entries to Maria Field, District Clerk, via Email.

 Are there prizes for the winner?

Grand Prize Winning design becomes the official logo, and the winner receives school-branded merchandise (2 items), recognition at a school event, and a feature on the school website.

Runner-Up Prizes (2) School-branded merchandise (1 item), and mention on the school website. 

Certificates For all participants as a thank-you for their contributions.
