September 18, 2019 (Cooperstown, NY) - Cooperstown Central School will host CCS 2019 Homecoming beginning the week of September 29th. Daily themes for the week have been designed by CCS Student Council and CCS Athletics will host several events on home fields. The 2019 Homecoming Week will begin with a bonfire on campus on September 29th and includes three separate evenings of events under the lights, courtesy of donations from the Cooperstown Sports Booster Club. An emergency fire alarm pull was accidentally activated today at the Cooperstown Elementary School. Administration and School District staff took quick action and evacuated the building. Police, fire and press responded via communication protocols. All students and staff have safely returned to classes.

Congratulations to Sam and Lucian Lytel on their acceptance to the 2019 NYSSMA All-State Festival. Sam will be playing in the symphony Orchestra and Lucian in the string orchestra. Both received perfect scores in their audition and we’re ranked first candidates on their respective instruments.
